- BYOD Trends in Education –William Aguilar, Wireless Product Manager for Enterasys Networks
William Aguilar, CISSP,is the Director of Product Management responsible for managing Enterasys’ award-winning wireless product line. As the lead product manager, William manages the lifecycle from cradle-to-grave for the entire Enterasys Wireless portfolio. William was instrumental in defining an integrated access strategy for Enterasys which resulted in delivering the first enterprise unified wired/wireless solution to market in 2008, years ahead of the competition. Previously at Enterasys, William was responsible for the Enterasys Fixed Switching solutions including defining the roadmap and requirements for the highly successful B5/C5 switching models, the newest generation of Enterasys stackable switches. William’s unique experience in delivering wired and wireless solutions is critical to Enterasys’ vision of executing towards a single fabric network infrastructure. Prior to Enterasys, William worked in various engineering and Product Management leadership roles for leading security vendors Core Security, Symantec, and General Dynamics,where he architected the first certificate-based single sign-on solution in the market.
- Use a Content Management System to gain your Tech Department Back – Michael J. Maloney, Jr., Executive Vice President for eSchoolView.
Michael began his relationship with eSchoolView as a client. In his former position as the Information Coordinator for Cloverleaf Local School District, Michael was responsible for the development and implementation of strategic communications and media outreach, a position that put him in direct contact with eSchoolView’s CMS. In addition to his experience at Cloverleaf Local School District, Michael once worked as the Director for Business Solutions in Ohio for Windstream Communications, an S&P 500 communications and technology company that provides voice and data services to business and government agencies around the country.
- Innovative Perspectives on Education –Dr. Randy Stepp, Superintendent of Medina City Schools.
Dr. Stepp received his Bachelor's degree in education with a concentration in business and economics from Ashland University. Dr. Stepp is currently pursuing his Executive MBA from Case Western Reserve University with the hope of gaining a stronger understanding of how to integrate the practices of the private sector with the practices of the public sector. His ultimate goal is to run his school district more efficiently and efficiently and effectively, while maintaining performance results in the core areas. Dr. Stepp has recently participated in the Leadership Deep Dive Program at Case Western Reserve University, as well as the Program on Negotiations at Harvard Law School. Dr. Stepp has served as Superintendent of the Medina City School District since 2006.
