Madison-Plains Local Schools proudly announces the launch of its new website, powered by eSchoolView. In addition to attractive Flash photo components and a professional design, the website contains many new features to help keep stakeholders informed about events and initiatives at the district.
The new website offers easy navigation. From the home page, visitors can easily access district offices, school buildings, and athletic departments. They can also read the Superintendent’s Message, find information about the district’s report card, and enjoy current district news. A calendar also keeps the public informed about deadlines and exciting events throughout the district.
Parents and students also have their own links that take them to content tailored to address their questions and needs. Parents link from the home page to a parent resource page that connects them with important information and forms, and links them to Progress book, the district’s online grading system, so they can check on their children’s progress anytime. Students link to an online academic resource library.
Visitors can also easily link to individual school building Web pages. In order to keep the community informed about events at the school and to encourage parents to participate in their child’s education, each school site offers timely building-specific news, lunch menus, student resources, links to the guidance department and media center, and department/teacher web pages.
The district enjoyed a smooth design phase and launch. “eSchoolView did a great job expediting the design process of our site while maintaining a high-level of quality. eSchoolView’s staff was responsive to our district’s needs as we setup our site,” says Joe Penney, Technology Coordinator for the district.
Madison-Plains Local Schools will continue to enjoy superb customer service as they maintain their new site. Not only will eSchoolView train key people responsible for maintaining and updating the content, it will also help them grow the site over time using interactive and creative components.
The district knows this investment in communication will be a positive force in forging and maintaining relationships between the district and the community it serves. “Once Madison-Plains acclimates itself to the software and is ready to grow the website’s role in their communications plan, they are going to be thrilled with the components we have to help them foster valuable two-way communication with their community,” says Rob O’Leary, Director of eSchoolView.
