Nation’s top performing schools turn to eSchoolView

The websites of some of Arizona’s — and the nation’s — top-ranked high schools are making a switch.

BASIS Schools, Inc. has turned to eSchoolView to redevelop its web presence and take charge of the hosting reigns as it moves away from an internal server with its continued expansion. BASIS operates one of the country's strongest networks of charter schools, currently serving about 13,000 students, and is growing.

Four of its high schools have received significant national praise this spring for their academic strength.

U.S. News and World Report lists BASIS Scottsdale as the No. 2 best high school in the country. The Washington Post named three BASIS schools at the top of and among its annual list of America’s Most Challenging High Schools: Oro Valley is ranked first, Chandler is second and Tucson North is sixth. The publication noted Scottsdale could have topped all three but its ACT and SAT scores were too selective for the established criteria.

eSchoolView is headquartered in Columbus, Ohio and is one of the nation's fastest growing companies. It ranks in the top third of the Inc. 500/5000 list at 1409 with revenue that has increased by more than 300 percent in three years. The company, which has offices in Arizona and North Carolina, was founded in 2008.

"We don't build sites and walk away," Executive Director Rob O'Leary said. "We get to know the client, create solutions that are structured around their needs and work with them continually as they evolve. It's a relationship; not a business deal."

eSchoolView works with public, private, charter and faith-based schools nationwide. The company builds custom-made websites on a cloud-based content management system that is easy to use.

“We have to offer tools that help educators connect with parents and the community so they can focus on their number one priority: academic growth,” O’Leary said. “Study after study shows a positive correlation between involved parents and a child’s performance in school.

"We build bridges between home and school."

eSchoolView's newest product aimed at enhancing parent engagement was launched last month in connection with the creators of ProgressBook. OneView — a one-of-a-kind solution to manage student data created by eSchoolView — combines parent portal features, athletic forms, online enrollment for new students and forms for currently enrolled students in one complete package, eliminating the need for parents and teachers to have multiple accounts.
