Ohio-based web developer continues expansion in Michigan

Bath Community Schools is set to launch a new website for the 2017-18 school year, marking continued growth of a national design company that got its start in Ohio.

eSchoolView, which creates tailor-made websites and develops educational management software, is based in Columbus, Ohio and serves clients from Georgia to New York to California. Bath is the company’s first Michigan client this year.

Doug Murphy, Director of Technology, said eSchoolView rose to the top for a number of reasons. Their customized approach to develop a website specific to Bath Community Schools’ needs coupled with eSchoolView’s extensive experience in educational leadership were key factors.

eSchoolView’s deep experience in education and the company’s ability to deliver clients a unique and personalized approach while a cost competitive with vendors that have a template-based approach made a significant impact, Murphy said.

Bath’s new web presence will be complete with a responsive mobile site, another key selling point. The mobile site will mirror the desktop site’s content and conform to the device being used, whether a phone or tablet.

The website will be built on an award-winning Content Management System (CMS) specifically developed for K-12 schools. The cloud-based platform will increase efficiency, collaboration and parent engagement.

“We create websites,” eSchoolView Executive Director Rob O’Leary said, “but we are in the business of building strong, long-lasting relationships that serve schools and their communities. Our tools help educators connect with parents and residents so they can focus on their number one priority: academic growth.”

While headquartered in Ohio’s capital city, eSchoolView has offices in Charlotte and Arizona where the company was recently identified as a preferred provider for the Greater Phoenix Purchasing Consortium of Schools (GCCPS). In New York, eSchoolView is partners with a number of regional educational service centers (BOCES) that provide services to its member districts at a discounted cost.

eSchoolView offers personalized training and support as part of all contracts. Key staff in Bath will be taught how to use the system, then train others in the district. Support thereafter is unlimited and available by phone, email, virtual sessions and video.

eSchoolView was created in 2008. Since then, its revenue growth lands the company near the top third (at 1907) of Inc. Magazine’s 5000 list of fastest growing privately held companies in the U.S. for the second consecutive year.
