eSchoolView and PowerSchool Join Forces to increase efficiency

eSchoolView, an award-winning website developer and hosting service for school systems across the country, and PowerSchool, the world’s leading learning company, are joining forces through an independent software vendor (ISV) partnership agreement to boost productivity and strengthen ties within school communities.

PowerSchool, the world’s leading student information system, supports 40 million users and over 15 million students in 73 countries, playing a central role in a network of integrated systems designed to provide K-12 districts with a cohesive solution to manage all mission-critical administrative processes and instructional data. PowerSchool enables today's educators to make timely decisions that impact student performance while creating a collaborative environment for parents, teachers and students to work together in preparing 21st century learners for the future.

The agreement between eSchoolView and PowerSchool enables instant push and pull of information between PowerSchool and OneView, an eSchoolView product that combines parent portal features, athletic forms and registration forms for new and currently enrolled students into one complete package. The process will be completed through a PowerSchool API.

eSchoolView’s collaboration with PowerSchool tightens integration by streamlining the process of merging the information. The data sets eSchoolView holds for districts using PowerSchool were previously updated on a nightly basis.

“This partnership with PowerSchool increases efficiency with realtime updates of critical student data,” Executive Director Rob O’Leary said. “Ultimately, that builds stronger relationships between districts and parents because there are no possible lapses in stored information.”

For example, if a parent updates contact information from a computer at work, the new phone number or email address is available immediately to school personnel, not the next school day after the sync.

“We’re excited to partner with eSchoolView through the PowerSchool ISV program,” said Karin Holtz, vice president of Alliances and Business Development. “Ensuring that schools have the most up-to-date critical information is incredibly important.

One of the fastest growing privately held companies in the U.S., eSchoolView creates and hosts tailor-made websites for public, private, charter and faith-based schools through a content management system and builds educational management software. For more information visit www.eschoolView.com.
