eSchoolView and Software Answers work together to increase efficiency in schools

Software Answers and eSchoolVieweSchoolView, an award-winning website developer and hosting provider for school systems across the country, joins forces with Software Answers to help schools districts boost productivity and strengthen ties with their communities.

Software Answers is a web-based classroom and student management solution for the K-12 education market. Its ProgressBook education applications are used by more than 750 school districts nationwide, including 75% of Ohio public schools.

eSchoolView will now be able to implement instant push and pull of information between ProgressBook and OneView. OneView is eSchoolView’s product that combines parent portal features, athletic forms and registration forms for new and currently enrolled students into one complete package.

“As a Certified Integration Partner with Software Answers, we can now help school districts increase efficiency with realtime updates of critical student data,” Executive Director Rob O’Leary said. “Without a time lapse in stored information, schools can build stronger relationships with parents.”

The agreement between the two companies tightens integration by streamlining the process of merging information. The data sets eSchoolView holds for districts using ProgressBook were previously updated on a nightly basis.

For example, if a parent updates contact information from a computer at work, the new phone number or email address is available immediately to school personnel, not the next school day after the sync.

The announcement comes as eSchoolView is set to deliver a presentation today in conjunction with Canal Winchester Schools during Software Answers’ annual spring conference in Columbus. The session is called OneView: Bring Your School Life Together in One Digital Workspace.

eSchoolView creates and hosts tailor-made websites for public, private, charter and faith-based schools through a content management system and builds educational management software. The company serves hundreds of schools across the country, and recently was selected as a preferred provider by a consortium of schools in Arizona.

eSchoolView was created in 2008. Its revenue growth lands the company near the top third (at 1907) of Inc. Magazine’s 5000 list of fastest growing privately held companies in the U.S. for the second consecutive year. CIOReview named in 2015 eSchoolView as one of 50 Most Promising Education Tech Solution Providers.
