A redesigned eSchoolView website pulls in its second national award in three months as Shaker Heights City Schools is praised for its form and function by the Web Marketing Association.

The site was named a 2016 Education Standard of Excellence winner. Shaker was the only K-12 school system recognized and one of just 25 others highlighted in the national awards program. The National School Public Relations Association gave the site — one of just 23 — an Award of Merit in July.

Shaker’s tailor-made site brings a dramatic new appearance and capability to the district’s web presence. Intuitive navigation, an emphasis on crisp graphics and a prominent photo gallery are key elements to the new design. Less emphasis on text also increases interaction between the site and end-user.

“Our success is built on our ability to grow and exceed expectations,” eSchoolView Executive Director Rob O’Leary said. “Our team is inspired by the challenge of working in the technology space where significant change is commonplace.”

eSchoolView has served Shaker Heights City Schools for more than five years. The site redesign was launched during the 2015-16 school year and deepens the district’s ability to connect with its community.

The mobile performance of Shaker’s site also improved dramatically with eSchoolView’s responsive design. It is now optimized to display on a variety of platforms and devices, eliminating the need for duplicate data entries in order to manage two sites.

eSchoolView builds custom websites for K-12 schools — public, private, charter and faith-based — with its easy-to-use Content Management System (CMS) and other integrated products. The CMS platform helps districts expand their reach with the ability to embed blogs, surveys, RSS feeds, e-newsletters, podcasts, videos and other tools.

eSchoolView has reaped significant national commendation the past year. CIOReview selected eSchoolView in December as one of the country’s 50 most Promising Education Technology Solution Providers. OneView, eSchoolView’s solution for enhancing data integration, was recognized in March as a 2016 Cool Tool by EdTech Digest.

OneView allows school districts to read and push data back into various student information systems (SIS), such as ProgressBook, PowerSchool or eSchoolPlus. In turn, the software increases internal efficiency and parent engagement through one login.

eSchoolView was created in 2008. Its revenue growth lands the company on the Inc. Magazine’s 5000 list of fastest growing privately held companies in the U.S. for the third consecutive year.
