Clients are cause for recent praise of eSchoolView software recognition

Grant working with an internAs the academic year winds down and accomplishments take center in districts across the country, recognition for eSchoolView is mounting.

The Columbus, Ohio-based company — with offices in North Carolina, Michigan and Arizona — is a finalist for its creative efforts of dedicating its resources to the not-for-profit sector. This is the second time eSchoolView has been named a finalist for Business First Columbus’ Corporate Caring Awards. Winners will be announced next month.

“The recognition our team has earned is truly reflective of how we approach our work,” Executive Director and Cofounder Rob O’Leary said. “No matter the task, we want to produce the best product to meet our clients’ needs. It’s that simple. It’s all about them, not us.”

Just this spring, three of five websites recognized by the Ohio School Public Relations Association for distinct design and content were created by eSchoolView, including the top spot in the organization’s annual awards program. Beachwood City Schools was named the Best of the Best and Cuyahoga Valley Career Center and Dublin City Schools were given Mark of Excellence awards.

eSchoolView creates custom-made websites for K-12 schools and educational organizations. Its Content Management System was built in-house by cofounder Grant Wright and features more than 18 components — news articles, videos, photo galleries, surveys and more — as part of its flexible and easy-to-use platform.

The company’s innovative response to mobile sites and its automated alert system earned recognition at the national level earlier this year when both were named among Ed Tech Digest’s Cool Tool Finalists.

eSchoolView’s mobile approach was created to reach audiences on any device without sacrificing desktop design and overall functionality. Instant Connect integrates intelligent voice dialing, true SMS alerts and email functions including emergency/crisis notifications, multi-language support, an anonymous anti-bullying hotline, schedule change messages, levy voting reminders and Panic Button feature.

O’Leary and Wright were also named as finalists in Ed Tech’s annual awards program for their visionary leadership. In just six years, the eSchoolView team has grown to a staff of nearly two dozen and builds and hosts custom-made websites for more than 1,300 education clients across the company.

The company’s Investing in the Future Program mentorship and scholarship program is a key reason eSchoolView is named among Business First’s Corporate Caring finalists. Aside from the $15,000 it awards to high school seniors each spring, the company sends one of its team members to a nearby STEM-based school every day to teach coding to middle schoolers. It also has donated time and resources to school districts on the ballot for levy initiatives.

“We are a service-minded team and want to pay forward to those who will be our leaders some day,” O’Leary said. “We believe we have a responsibility to share our knowledge with the school districts and associations we work with.”

eSchoolView builds custom websites for all K-12 schools with its easy-to-use website CMS & other integrated products.
